AGI Software – For Strengthening Defence
We are providing a powerful piece of AGI software that can
strengthen a Defence organisation’s handling of complex specifications and
related text – V&V, procedures manuals, etc.
It will also require considerable consulting to introduce the
tool into an organisation.
At Interactive Engineering, we develop solutions to complex and
intractable problems. We have enough to do in implementing an English language
machine interface which is generally applicable.
We expect a consulting or software company or Defence
contractor to take on the implementation at Defence organisation sites, while
maintaining an unclassified channel with us.
The Consultant profile:
- Diplomatic in creating a collaborative environment and resolving conflicts.
- Native English speaker (the text is not converted into a crude programming language – the text becomes actionable, so it is necessary to be familiar with multiple meanings, idiom, and structures in text).
- Literate (will have to tolerate a mishmash of legal and technical terms from a variety of technologies, and even psychological states creeping in, like recklessness, loyalty and trustworthiness).
- Patient and diligent – there will be thousands of small but interconnected decisions that have to be accurate.
- Willing to listen to the one voice that says something is not right, and gently proving them right or wrong.
- Capable of developing some insight into the Unconscious Mind (this part is hard – humility will help).
- Has or can get the requisite security clearance.
We would expect the initial consulting organisation to train
others, in the technology and consulting, leaving us to refine the tool.
There is a great deal of understanding packed into the
technology, unlike LLMs, where one company could do it, and seemingly
overnight, a hundred companies could do it.
As an AGI product, it must “understand” the text and be 100%
accurate, not cobble together bits of text into a crazy quilt.
We spent 20 years on refining Active Structure AGI. It is
the antithesis of programming – the problem is not reducible in the way that
most software projects are, because everything about natural language is
strongly interwoven. And yet natural language is the easiest way for humans to
describe complex or fast-changing situations.
Why would a Defence organisation embrace it?
Because they know about the misunderstandings, the delays,
the costly mistakes. Active Structure is the answer, starting at the genesis of
the specification. Getting it right can save a lot of grief.
Join us in exploring the potential of AGI to revolutionise
problem-solving. For further discussion about the software and the opportunities
